When the good folks at the International Center of Photography selected my work to be auctioned at the ICP's Spotlights event, they wrote this:
Michele I. Arazi focuses on people and environments shaped by the omnipresence of adversity. He has made work in the favelas of Brazil, the Jewish settlements in the West Bank, and, in the US, with people affected by organized crime.
Arazi lives and works in New York.
